Game Engines

Unity

Unreal

My greatest interest and best skills are centered on game engines.

​

Unity and Unreal with their respective programming languages C# and C++.

​

For their differences, I prefere to use Unity for coding and Unreal for the visual aspect.

I recently find a workflow that incorporate both engines for a maximum resault.

3D Software

Maya

ZBrush

Substance

Making 3D models is the process that i find most pleasant .

​

Here is the simplified description of my approach to it.

I always start on Maya to have a better control on the mesh. Then I usualy export it to ZBrush to add that touch of reality.

The details just created, are exported as normal maps; with the aid of Substance the 3D realization process is concluded.

The resault, a well looking and game ready 3d model.

Adobe Suite

My strong knolwledge of the entire Adobe Suite makes these two main sphere of interests, even more efficent.

From a specific texture with Photoshop, or a vector UI with Illustrator, to audio mixing with Audition until product publishing with Premiere.

Soft Skills

One thing i love of my job  isworking in a group. When different minds comes together in a large and collective one, when great bad and great ideas comes out, when a single word can make you imagine a universe.

I consider my self an emotional person, I learned to use this feature to my advantage in working enviroments. Putting my self in the shoes of my teammates, gives my the possibiity to understand when somethin is not going in the right way and comunicate before that small problems become huge; thus creating harmonious enviroment where everyone can work to the maximum of his potential.

Education

NABA Nuova Accademia belle arti. Milan, Italy.

2018 to 2021

NABA is a fine art university, especialy in the first year, I studied various subjects, not exclusively related to the path of game developement; from cinema to artificial inteligence.

The last two year where focused on game developement, the university gave me a 360° view on the game dev worck flow.

We make projects with 3D softwears like Maya and Zbrush, we study the history of the games and their level designs; we have several lessons on audio design, hardwears like Arduino and Vr. The focus was on the developement aspect, I learned C#, C++ and some Java script. 

It was an awesome experience, I learned a lot about this awesome world.

At NABA for distinguishing my self in the exam concerting the creation of short films, the university propoused me to work as a tutor. Obviously I accepted that offert. In that period I managed a photographic laboratory. It was very intresting also because one other task were helping students and teachers with their projects. I think that there is nothing more formative in the artistic field than excengin ideas with each others.
